Instant digital indication of gear in use

Bij de meeste motorzaken is hij te koop, de Digital Gear Indicator (DiGI) van de firma Datatool. Het is een roodkleurige cijferled waarvan het de bedoeling is dat het de versnelling laat zien waarin je staat als je rijdt. Omdat de Yamaha Diversion XJ900S geen electronische snelheidsmeter heeft moet er een extra adapter bijgekocht worden. Deze verzorgt de pulsen voor de electronica. Deze pulsgever wordt in de ronde gaten van de achterremschijf gemonteerd. Montage op een Yamaha Diversion kost de nodige tijd. Het door je dealer laten doen kan door de vele arbeidsuren dus flink duur worden. Of het werkt zijn de meningen nog verdeeld. Bij Renzo Franicevich is het allemaal wel goed gelukt en hij heeft ook de twee PDF bestanden aangeleverd. De ene is de engelstalige bijgeleverde handleiding, de andere een door hem zelf samengestelde handleiding.
