| After the introduction in 1991 of the Yamaha Diversion XJ600S, this machine got a bigger companion with the Yamaha Diversion XJ900S in 1994. It can also be seen as the follow-up of the Yamaha XJ900F. It has the look and feel of the Diversion XJ600S but has a shaft drive like the XJ900F. With around 90 hp and a shaft drive makes this a afforable no-nonsen grand touring machine. The price and the shaft drive makes it also popular as "business bike" for commuting. The machine has never been released in the States but can be found all over Europe countries like Australia and Singapore. |
