Large people with long legs may experience the Yamaha Diversion XJ900S as a bike on which they sit a little bit folded. For a little less folded sit you could either raise the saddle or lower the footrests. The saddle of the XJ900S cannot be adjusted in height as nicely as on the FJR1300. And we haven't seen a nice method to raise the XJ900S saddle. Lowering the footrests however can be done very well and relative simple. And in practice this modification has proven to work well. Please notice that lowering the footrests will also change the position towards gear and rear brake.

The original idea comes from Frans de Kruijf who also produced this modification for a short time. Due to circumstances Frans cannot produce them any more and released the specifications. The drawing has been made by René van der Zee based on these specs. Usage of the modification is ofcourse at your own risk.
