I bought the bike new in 1995. Used it to travel (work) between Valencia and Barcelona. 80,000 km in 3 years. Had Givi cases, very good, and good looking! Holed piston, stopped working in Bcn, bike repaired but virtually unused for a few years. Have recently decided to modify and improve it. 4-1 exhaust (IXIL), oil cooler, prog. springs front, new shock rear (Hagon). I just got clamp-on K&N filters and a stage 3 Factory Pro carb jet kit. Big problem- bike is 94 model, carbs were updated 95 (or96) model I think UK and Europe. In the US (I think again!) carbs have always been the later version. I'm pretty sure the needle jets from Factory are not compatible with my bike! Any help/suggestions from people with a similar problem would be more than greatly appreciated!! It's difficult to find technical stuff on the web, I only discovered the problem after getting a Haynes manual. Sorry to go on, hope to hear from someone.......... | |
