Because, many Japanese motorcyclist are interested in supersports, like YZF-R1, not interested in touring model as Diversion. So, I have not seen another Divvey owner in Japan. We have owners club of Diversion in Japan. But, numbers of member is small, especially about 900 Diversion. But, I love this motorcycle very much and I ride every day for my office even in rainy day.

Japan - Yokota Air Base near Tokyo: Eric Fox [30-May-97]
Eric recently bought a 1993 Yamaha Diversion 400. It has just over 13,400 km and is in very good condition. Beautiful solid black paint. This is his first motorcycle and has proven to be a wonderful choice! He really likes riding it, and looks forward to taking it on some local tours with the local motorcycle club. He is looking to add some sort of saddle bags to allow for convenient touring and commuting. He presently uses the bike to go to and from work and rides it every where he can. He looks forward to a long relationship with this bike. His long term plan is to use it while he is in Japan, then move up to a 750 in a year or two. Best Regards from Eric
