I have just bought a Yamaha XJ600S diversion, and it is the first Yamaha that I have driven. It is good on mileage and ideal for what I will be doing next year. It is from 1998 and done 31.000 km, so it is still a new bike. I am wondering about services to the bike as I have not got a service book with, well good wind and drive safe.

I bought the bike because of its low maintenance cost and good reliability. It's a OK bike but I have some problems with turbulens around my helmet. Also the seat isn't too comfortable when riding two persons. Do anyone have a solutions for that (besides buying a bigger bike)

We bought a XJ600N in 1999. I have driven a XT600(1985) for many years, so now I, my girl and our 2 children can go on short and long trips. I will take the XJ600 to Assen on 4. sep. 99. Later on we plan to supply it with 2 slip-on's. Does anybody have some good ideas? With a more open exhaust is it a good idea with a Dyno-jet kit? or is it not nessesary? See you out there on the road

Hi, I am a new owner of 97 XJ600S. I am 35 years old, but have not owned a bike for many years. I am just interested to get in on the talk of the town with this bike.

(I am living in Denmark but I drive quite some times to Holland and during the summer I like the travel to the south of europe. I drive aprox. 20.000 a year.) When I was looking to buy a motorbike I was doubting between the Suzuki Highlander and the Diversion. I choose the Diversion because you get quite some motorbike for a fair price. I esspecially liked the budy seat it is now problem for the ass to drive more than 1000 km a day. I am not too satisfied with the windshield, because of my lenght (1,7m). I get a lot of turbulences around my helmet. I have mounted a higher wind shield but that didn't help enough. Is there somebody who has experience with this? Since the exibition in Utrecht this year I am member of the YDCN. Because I live in Denmark I have not been able to participate in the activities of the YDCN, but a am always looking forward to receive a new 'Diversiteiten' or 'nieuwsbrief'.

Denmark - Virum: Jan Skotte Andersen
Jan has been riding motor bikes for 8 years now, and just got his XJ 600s Diversion. After the first mounth it has 2700 km's on the clock, and he loves it. Only sad that the winter starts so early, but he's going to ride all winter, exept when the roads are covered with ice, or salt. His favorite is touring and weekend rides.
