Foreign Diversion Owners

 Canada
Canada - Edmonton: Walter Kubrak
Walter owns a 93'XJ600SF SECA II. Most of riding is done to and from work (a 30 km highway ride). He has only been riding for one year, and this is the bike he has learned to ride on. From the first time he pulled it out of the shop, the bike handled like a dream. One of worst riding experiences was in the rain with a 50 km/h cross wind. When those big trucks pass, they sure do whip a bike around. He can't wait till the snow melts, which is late April around there. He will be looking to put a center stand and some side bags on this year. If anyone can recommend some types of side bags to use, please write him!

Canada - Montreal: David Doern
David does not have a Diversion but a 1984 Yamaha XJ750RL. He does not know if it has a second name like Diversion or Seca but thinks his XJ750RL has a strong family resemblance to some of the Diversions. He wasn't able to find a picture of it at the moment (march'96) but will try to sent me one. He's waiting for the spring when the snow will melt and he can take his bike out of the shed.
Canada - Oshawa: Doug Holmes [11-Mar-98]

Canada - Riverview, New Brunswick: Graeme Davidson [16-Jan-00]
Hi again, I've been away from the list for a while and have a new email addy which is active. Since I've been gone, I picked up a Targa fairing for my 92 Seca, and a set of short stalk turn signals. I hope to have the bike repainted silver this spring. I'm saving up for the Corbin seat and a jet kit.
Canada - Vernon: Glen Conway [12-Oct-97]
Glen is 32 years old and have owned a XJ600 Seca II for four years. It has almost 50,000 km on it and is still running great. He ride from the time the snow is off the road until it shows up the next fall. He thinks the bike is very comfortable for rider and passenger alike and it kind of looks like his dream bike (Ducati 900SS). This summer I is thinking of putting som new fork springs in. He has polished the rims and the footpeg brackets to almost a chrome like finish. He would be interested in hearing from any other XJ600 owners with regards to tips and great twisty roads to ride. If anyone is interested in taking a look at a pic of his bike, you can see it at see it at his homepage.
