Belgium - Alken: Deckers Geert [01-May-06]
Ben sinds 2 weken de gelukkige eigenaar van een Diversion XJ900S, bouwhaar '99, donker bordeaux van kleur en het hogere scherm op de kuip. Schitterende motor en dit is echt touring. Ik reed voordien reeds 6 jaar met een suzuki GN250 van '91. Mensen wat een verschil. Mijn Diversion heeft 9000 Km op de teller dus ik hoop er nog veel bij te kunnen doen. Jammer dat we in België niet zo'n site hebben met allemaal eigenaars van hetzelfde type motor. Hoi allemaal. |

Hi, I am gino, I have a Deep purplish red coctail 3-XJ900S diversion, and a proud owner of it! I ride almost every day with it to work, and so I find it a great bike for transportation, but a quick bike too. I would start a diversion club in Belgium, because the diversion is underestimated. Belgium - Erps-Kwerps (Kortenberg): Arnaud Croes [27-May-97]
Arnaud lives in Belgium since 20 march 1997. Before that he lived in Zaandam (Netherlands) and owned a Honda CX500-C. Removing the bike to Belgium isn't easy and because he already was thinking on buying another bike, he bought in Belgium a second hand Diversion 600. The Honda is now for sale in Holland. He loves the Diversion which is very comfortable on lang trips (compared with the CX-500-C which is a custom). He uses the bike for touring and commuting (depends on the weather). |

Belgium - Hoogstraten: Pieter Jan Hermans
Pieter's production is 1971. Lucky for him, his bike not. That's a black Diversion XJ600N from 1996. He bought it 2nd hand with only 3500 km on it. He got his license in october 1996. That makes him a rookie in bikers land. He had never read anything about it before the summer of 1996. But he must admit that it is a dream he had never realized. He was hooked from the very first moment he sat on it. It's a dream he never realised he had. He was hooked from the moment he sat on it. Why a bike then? He decided to buy one the moment he decided to go and live in Hoogstraten, about 80 km from the place he works. Why a Diversion? 'Cause it is a good starters' bike they told him. Above all, he liked the way it looks. He was only suprised to see so few owners of the 'naked' version. He was very pleased to find the Diversion Club on the Net. Pity no Divvy Club exist in Belgium. |

Ik rij met een Diversion 600 en ben er zeer tevreden van. Dat is nu mijn vijfde motor. Ik rij een gans jaar door, zomer en winter. Dat is tot nu toe mijn beste motor die ik ooit gehad heb. Ik doe ongeveer een 20 a 25000 km per jaar. Ik zal die motor volledig oprijden. De Diversion 900 is wel krachtiger en heeft wel meer pit. |

Hi there, I've just bought a second hand yamaha diversion 9000. I use it to go to work and for every other occasion that just might invite me to take out my bike. In short: this is a fabulous machine!I'm planning to go on a holiday trip as from July, 2001 to some country in Europe. Can I join any yamaha biker(s) who has the same intention? BTW: I'm a highschool teacher but certainly not the caricature of it ...

I'm 54 years old. I drove motorcycles for 38 years. Now I have a 900 Diversion. She has 38.000 km, she is 3 years old and I'm waitting for my first trouble whith her. She is equiped with down careening set from JMV (France). I have also add a SHAD (Spannish product) luggage kit with 3 boxes of 46 liters. For information SHAD is a very good product better and cheaper than GIVI or KRAUSER. Like everybody I'm expecting a 1200 Diversion from YAMAHA but i'm affraid this dream will never come true. YAMAHA is only involved in sport models like R1 and others. My next one bike will be a TRIUMPH Sprint. |

I am more than pleased with the civilised noice, the beautiful design, the "souplesse" of the four cylinders engine. Great bike! |

Een paar weken geleden kocht ik een tweedehands DIV van bouwjaar 2002 met net geen 14000 km op de teller. Voordien reed ik met een enduro en vervolgens een Yam FZR 600. De Div is de eerste motor die zowel mezelf als de duorijder weet te bekoren. De hartelijke ontvangst door de club gedurende het Zeeland weekend maakt het feest alleen maar compleet. |

Hallo beste Diversionisten(s) ... net de foto's gevonden van de Brabantrit die ik op 20 augustus in jullie gezelschap heb mogen meerijden. Hartelijk dank aan de organisatoren voor het samenstellen van de mooie route. Heb ze spijtig genoeg vroegtijdig moeten afbreken, maar vorig weekend met 't vrouwtje achterop nog eens overgedaan tot het einde : 't was heerlijk rijden langs de Maas !!! Heel plezant om nu op de fotopagina wat foto's van onze "Blue Lady", onze Diversion 900GT uit 2001, te vinden. Ook wij vinden het een formidabele motor waar we al veel plezier hebben aan beleefd. Nadat ik verleden jaar met onze vorige motor (ook een Div 900GT) wat te intensief aan "bodemonderzoek" had gedaan, waren we erg blij toen we snel een identiek model vonden en konden aankopen. Nu die eerste weer hersteld is, zijn we dus trotse bezitter van twee blauwe GT's. Aangezien we ze enkel voor recreatie gebruiken, zullen we er hopelijk nog lang kunnen van genieten ! Allerbeste groeten, en misschien tot een volgende YDCN-rondrit in onze buurt. |

Ben sinds April van dit jaar de trotse bezitter van een fonkelnieuwe Divi 900. Ben hem zo stillekes aan naar mijn persoonlijke wensen aan het aanpassen. Zo heb ik net stuurverhogers besteld, daar mijn polsen toch zwaar belast worden. Ik vind het een zeer vlotte moto, enkel de vering kan beter vind ik, dus die zal ook nog aangepast worden. Ik ben nog geen lid maar ga dat zeker worden en zal dan ook mijn herwerkte divi laten zien bij de Mods. Een zeer goede rubriek trouwens, welke toch uitgebreid mag worden. |

I am 23 and drive a yellow div. 600 S for about 1,5 years now. I mostly ride it to go to work and make small trips in the weekend. I am thinking of replacing the 4 in two to a 4 in 1 exhaust. I also am thinking of placing another (smaller) steer. To the people who have done such replacement, tell me your stories, email me. I also search a second hand noise part (I fell once and now it is broken) and a lower part. |

Hallo, Arlette en mijzelf hebben reeds menig plezante kilomters doorgebracht op onze Diversion 900 die we nieuw kochten in 05/97. Ons eerste doel is reizen met de motor. Na heropgestapt te zijn op een Kawa 440 Ltd en een trip naar zuid Engeland haden we de microbe beet. Nu is reizen met een chopper niet comfortabel, dus iets anders moest er komen. We zochten tegen een aanvaardbare prijs een motor met voldoende vermogen, een kardan en een klein kuip. Zo kwamen we bij de Diversion. Ondertussen staan er 40.000 km op de teller en waren we in Italië, Normandië (2x), Duitsland, Luxemburg, vele malen in Friesland en nu staat Mallorca (met veerboot uit Barcelona) op het programma. Misschien wordt ik wel lid van de Nederlandse club. Flinke motorgroet. Rudi & Arlette. |
