Beschouw de "Max" prijs als de prijs waarvoor je een 2e hands machine bij je dealer koopt. De "Min" prijs is ongeveer de prijs die je voor je motor krijgt als je hem inruilt voor een gelijkwaardig geprijsde motor. Met name de verkoopprijs kan redelijk varieren, afhankelijk van wat je koopt. De conditie van de motor en het aantal kilometers op de klok hebben grote invloed op de prijs. Wanneer je een motorfiets aan je dealer verkoopt, dan geeft hij over het algemeen vrijwel niets voor gemonteerde accessoires. Sterker nog, een motor met een Corbin zadel is voor hem meestal slechter te verkopen dan een met een standaard zadel. Het is dan ook sterk aan te bevelen een motorfiets zo standaard mogelijk te verkopen en de accessoires los te verkopen. De kolom "value" geeft een indicatie welk percentage van de originele prijs de motor nog waard is. Voor de berekening is de 'mean' prijs genomen. De kolom "value to new" geeft een indicatie welk gedeelte van de nieuw prijs je moet betalen voor een x jaar oude motor. Opmerkelijk is om te zien dat een 1 jaar oude motor slechts 3/4 van de nieuwprijs zou hoeven te kosten.

The "Min" prices is around the price you get for your bike if you sell it to your dealer for a comparable priced machine. Especially this sell price can vary a lot, depending on what you buy. Also notice that the condition of the motorcycle and the number of miles have influence on the price. When selling a bike to a dealer, he won't give a lot for your accessoires. In fact, a bike with a Corbin saddle is harder to sell for him then with a standard saddle. So it can be wise to bring back the bike in the orginal state and sell your accesoires yourself.
